The premiere of movie Mai which stars Asha Bhosle took place in Mumbai recently. Several big names from the industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Kajol, Sonam Kapoor showed up at the premiere to show their support and respect to the legendary singer. However there was one man who was missing from the event and it was none other than actor Ram Kapoor who plays an important role in the movie. Ram plays Asha bhosle’s son-in-law in Mai.
According to sources the popular TV actor went missing because of a tiff with the producers. In fact film’s producer Subhash Dawar had said that Ram also refused to promote the film “We called him a number of times and even sent many of text messages. His manager was also intimated. However, he didn’t show any interest in the promotions. He is not taking any calls. And whenever he has reverted, he has said that he is either in Thailand or in the middle of some important shoot”, he said.
However in spite of the tiff, people expected Ram to show up for the premiere, if for nothing else then at least for Ashaji but looks like Ram is no mood to forgive and forget!
