Cocktail has done extremely well in it’s first weekend. The film has collected 36 crore and much of it’s business has come from multiplexes in big cities. Cocktail has performed extremely well in places like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chandigarh. Here is the three day break up for the movie:
Friday: 11 crore
Saturday: 12 crore
Sunday: 13 crore
Total: 36 crore
The collections at single screens were low however it seems the multiplexes more than made up for it. The multiplex collection for Cocktail has been extraordinary so far and it remains to be seen how well the film sustains itself on weekdays. This is definitely good news for Saif Ali Khan whose last film Agent Vinod flopped badly at the box office this year. Stay tuned for more on this!
